THE “NORRIS” WOMEN

Rebecca (Becki) Norris is an entrepreneur, fashion stylist, designer, and personal stylist. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, her extensive background includes more than 25 years in fashion, retail, merchandising and the entertainment field.

Shady And Katie originated in Los Angeles in 2002.  The store was a frequent destination of professionals in the film and television industry, from art directors, set designers, costume designers and celebrities.  “It was great fun to watch TV and recognize our merchandise, says Becki.”

Eventually, Becki moved Shady And Katie to Dallas, Texas where her husband had produced “Walker Texas Ranger” for CBS Television. “Having spent ten years commuting from L.A. to Dallas, Texas was already a second home,” says Becki.  Shady And Katie, transformed to meet the needs of the local Texas marketplace quickly.  

In 2010, Becki’s daughter Meagan Norris joined the Company as CEO, where she brought her fashion expertise and natural eye for perfection. A graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu California, Meagan went on to work for Fox Television, CBS and many independent film and television companies. With her artistic eye, fashion savvy and experience, Meagan became the driving force in the continued growth of Shady And Katie.

In 2013, www.shadyandkatie.com was born, which was a welcomed creative endeavor and a new opportunity to expand Shady And Katie’s unique style and experience, to the world of the Internet.   With the on-line store, the two owners are able to continue to serve their Florida customers year round.   The Business is now headquartered in Naples Florida and is enjoying the “Sunshine State”.   “Love, love, love getting back to the beach, say’s Meagan. It’s in our DNA”!
